Christmas Cookies in Capistrano

In December, A1 had an unexpected day off school, so we visited with some of our favorite friends, Bentley and Gaige. We really miss them since they moved away to San Juan Capistrano from living right down the hall from us. But it's nice that they're close enough that we can visit them every few months.

They took us to a nearby playground, which was really fun. The favorite part was a "raft" which could be moved from the sidelines. The kids teamed up to take turns moving each other on the raft.
Then we went to their house for lunch and to decorate Christmas cookies. Jaime's sister and her boys joined us for the cookies. I liked getting to know her a little bit better, and A2 enjoyed playing with new friends. And the cookies were delicious!
